When asked about his passion for these games, the Chiefs QB remarked,“I got to go to Ted’s son’s high school football game a couple of weeks back. I know you know Ted, he is our PR guy. His son, I’ve been here for six years now so I’ve seen him grow up and he’s starting in varsity so I went and watched him play.”
In 2022, Mahomes attended games featuring QB coach Matt Nagy’s sons, one of whom played as starting QB while the other lined up at cornerback. “I went and watched Nagy’s sons. Luckily enough for me.
