Philadelphia Eagles' player's comments about Taylor Swift raise eyebrows, sparking outrage before Super Bowl LIX

Taylor Swift, the billionaire global pop star, has been regularly spotted at NFL matches, as she cheers on her boyfriend, the NFL star, Travis Kelce. But she also frequently gets trolled because of it. Recently, Philadelphia Eagles’ tight end Dallas Goedert was asked about Taylor Swift and his reply has been slammed by Taylor’s fans since many feel it was quite “disrespectful”.


Recently, Dallas Goedert was asked about Taylor Swift and he denied knowing a lot about her. He said, “Is she the one that sings “Dont Go Chasing Waterfalls? She doesnt? Man, Taylor Swift’s songs - she is an incredible artist but you know, she aint on my playlist. Uh, you know, im more of the Philly guy”
Dallas Goedert continues, “Obviously, I’ve been listening to a lot of Kendrick Lamar. We are gonna see him at the half time show. Im sure he is gonna put up quite a performance.”
Dallas Goedert’s answer about Taylor Swift did not go down well with her fans. Many fans feel it was “a dig” towards Travis Kelce.
A fan took to X and wrote, “This dude is lying, he probably has her greatest hits pinned to his playlists”, while another fan wrote, “A source told me Goedert actually has a taylor swift poster in his locker and that he is an admin of a popular Swiftie discord. He's lying.”
A third fan wrote, “Bro is trying so hard to act like he doesn’t know who that is 🤣 “

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have not addressed the statements made by Dallas Goedert but fans have continued to slam the Philadelphia Eagles’ star player.
With the Super Bowl LIX beginning in a few hours now, emotions are on the rise for fans of both the Kansas City Chiefs and of Philadelphia Eagles. Kansas City Chiefs are on a winning streak and have already made history by being the only team in NFL that have gotten the chance to appear at the Super Bowl for the seventh time.
But the Philadelphia Eagles are no less. They have consistently recorded a strong performance this season and Saquon Barkley of Eagles’ is quite confident of winning this championship this year.
This is actually the second time that the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles are meeting for a match at the Super Bowl. Back in 2023, the two teams faced each other at the Super Bowl and the Chiefs defeated the Eagles at that time.
Many fans and experts feel the Philadelphia Eagles will be successful in taking revenge this time and taking the championship home. Super Bowl LIX begins at 6:30 PM ET.
