Upon announcing Merab Dvalishvili’s entry onto the stage, audiences were surprised by the outfit the fighter was wearing. With a red jacket, the fighter had a baby carrier on the front with a baby-sized doll of Sean O’Malley in it. Dvalishvili’s outfit was complemented with a cap that read, ‘Sean’s dad’. While the visual dig at the opponent was hilarious, the fighter rather responded with a polite tone while completely giving out the respect O’Malley deserved.
When asked about his attire, the fighter responded, saying, “This is little joke of course. But I am dead serious for this fight, you know. We all know Sean is a good fighter. He hits hard and I felt that. And now he will make some adjustments and he is looking for a finish. It is going to be a good fight.”
