Did GTA 6 Trailer 2 just tease a connection to GTA 5’s one of the biggest missions?

GTA 6 Trailer 2 has ignited fan theories, with one suggesting a link to GTA 5's 'Father & Son' mission. A yacht spotted in the trailer resembles Michael's, prompting speculation that Jason acquired it in Vice City. Jason's dialogue about stealing from a 'rich guy in Los Santos' fuels this theory.

At the very beginning of the Trailer 2 of GTA 6, when Jason was having a conversation with Brian Heder, a side character in the upcoming game, fans spotted a yacht in the right side of that particular frame. Now, they have started speculating that this is the same yacht which was an integral part of the “Father & Son” mission in GTA 5. That yacht actually belonged to Michael, which was sold by his son with his permission. However, somehow Michael’s son was locked in that yacht and it was towed by a truck. And in that popular mission, we saw Michael and Franklin chasing that truck and ultimately rescuing Michael’s son from that towed yacht, plotting an epic chase scene.
Now, many fans have claimed that the yacht shown in the trailer is actually the same one from that popular mission of GTA 5. In the mission, Michael and Franklin were able to retrieve Michael’s son, but couldn’t stop that truck which fled with that yacht. And fans have found a new connection from this. According to a fan theory, that yacht eventually made it to Vice City, where Jason actually bought it and kept it in his front yard. This theory also gets a huge boost with a dialogue of Jason in the trailer, “low-life criminal who stole it from some rich guy in Los Santos’’, indicating a potential connection between these two games. Now the question arises, is that really the case? Can we see Michael in GTA 6? It's also possible that this is just an Easter egg or a yacht that looks a lot like it and has no canonical significance. Given that Michael is employed at Richards Majestic Studios in Los Santos as of 2021 in the GTA chronology, it seems unlikely that he will make an appearance in GTA 6.Read More:GTA 6 Trailer 2 sets this new record within first 24 hours of release
