The ACB is likely to summon the accused and move for arrests in the case at the earliest, sources confirmed.
The construction of semi-permanent structure classrooms with a 30-year lifespan was allegedly done at a cost equivalent to RCC classrooms with a 75-year lifespan, resulting in no apparent financial benefit, the probe revealed.
The project was reportedly awarded to contractors associated with AAP without following due procedure. "Significant deviations and cost escalations were observed, and not a single work was completed within the prescribed time period.
